Fear of Hogpocalypse

Yesterday, Channel 10 in the Central Texas area ran a short story on the subject, featuring the man who I assume was the owner of Kaput, or whatever the company is called. To hear him describe the dangers of warfarin, you would think eating your morning bowl of Cheerios was far more risky than ingesting warfarin, either first or second-hand. Nothing was mentioned, I don't think, about the restraining order, which may not have been issued by the time the news story was taped. We'll see where it goes from here. I have a feeling that this is only a temporary setback for Kaput, however.

Mr. Miller walking back several of his claims on the safety of warfarin. Also thought it was interesting the manufacturer pulled their application to operate in TX due to the fear of a lawsuit.

 

Really have a hard time with the statements that the federal labeling can be changed...
