28th Posse Hog Hunt-Hunt Report!

Recommended Posts

We only had three Posse members on this Hunt, amigo, CitySlickerHunter, and me, but we had a great time! We only ended up with one hog, but it was a doozy! We were looking forward to hunting the back half of the ranch this time, but another deluge just before we got there nixed that. We had the wettest August in 102 years! That will spread the hogs out every time..........

Our group, L to R: Bobcat, CitySlickerHunter, amigo.

We all saw a lot of deer!

It was great getting caught up with Michael and Mike!

I noticed that Scott, the guide, had a mustache, too. I wonder if that could be the reason......nah, probably not. Beautiful sunset, by the way. One of the many bonuses of being outside hunting that has nothing to do with the amount of game taken. Wish I could have been there to see it.

The Euro mount look good. Normally about 3/4 or more of the tusks are in the jawbone. The ends are almost paper thin and fragile.
