Today is my 61st birthday. Just one more year and I am eligible to close the doors, go to the house and draw a check. Doubt that will happen, but who knows. I know of only one or two attorneys who have retired. It seems we generally keep working and die behind our desks. I don't enjoy it that much.

Anyway, I digress. I have a Polaris 4 wheeler I bought in 1998 and never did care for it. Although I will say that it was a smoother ride than my old Honda 300. I am going to the Honda dealership today and look at what they have to offer. I spoke with the dealer during the week and he suggested a 500 rancher or foreman. I don't remember which it was. Do any of you have any experience with the newer Hondas and what are your thoughts.

Happy Birthday Rick,

I can't speak for the Hondas, but I have an Arctic Cat Prowler side by side, and I flat love it.

I have a Honda 350 rancher parked by the front door, I have cattle next to interstate 45 and a state hwy it is very good and fast to get cattle in and gets in to places the larger one can not get to. I like the 350 for lots of reason some times I wish it was bigger and for hunting I wish it was a side by side mule. there is a lot of good option available. I think if it is a 4 wheeler Honda is top of the list. Polaris makes a loot of snowmobile and jet skis and there 4 wheelers are use a lot in Alaska because of the name and interchangeable parts.

Hey I bought one...... <_< I bought a Forman 500 with camo. I started to buy power steering and automatic. Instead I decided to go with the camo and 5 speed like my old Honda 300. They only wanted to give me $400.00 for my old Polaris and I let them know quick I wasn't hard up. Jason was with me and I just turned to him and said, " Son, you just got yourself an old Polaris 4 wheeler." Heck it's in good shape for being 14 yrs old. Only has 975 miles on it and the original tires.

I agree...you get quality, reliability & longevity w/ a Honda engineered product.
A friend of mine still has his 1986 BIG RED & it runs great after all these years...

Good Choice, Ole Blood, I'll bet you'll be happy w/ your new toy.

Thanks Shooter.

I am envious of the guys who live in the 'neighborhood" and who are also retired and on their way to becoming winos. Make him leave the jug at home.

You guys have fun and when Click pulls the trigger tell him he best hit what he is aiming at. Not that anyone on here would remind him or rib him about a miss or anything. I have determined this place is not for the "thin skinned" or shy people like Joe or OC.

Be Safe
