Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D., TOC, is one of the three youth charities we support. Long time friend, Posse Member, and Posse Moderator Kurt Bryan, aka CaptKB, is the President of TOC. His wife and long time friend and Posse Member, Lee Ann Bryan, is the Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors.

Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures to children and young people from the ages of 8 to 20 years old who are residents or are native to the State of Texas. These children and young people are the victims of terminal illnesses or life altering medical problems.

This is Jordan on his TOC Hunt in 2008. Jordan is a 12 year old young man with cerebal palsy & bilateral brachial plexius. Jordan uses either a walker or a power chair to get around, but don't think he is slowed down by any of this!!!

Bob,

Is there any way I can help with one of these organizations?

Please let me know as I get no greater joy...

Thanks...

Hey Greg,

Of course you already help them via our fundraisers and cap sales. With that being said, each of them is always in need of cash donations. They may also need help with manpower, guiding, hunt donations, equipement, clothing, etc. You can contact each of them via the link in the main post about each group to see what their immediate needs are. You can also just click on the banner ads above to go to their web-sites for the contact information. CKA is sending me the artwork for their new banner and I will get one up for them too.

Thanks,

Bob :P

Thanks to Bob and all the Posse members for all of the support you have given Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D. Without your support we could not do what we do for these kids. I feel very fortunate and blessed to be apart of this organization. These kids come to us as total strangers and before we ever go on their hunt, they become apart of all of our families as we become apart of their family. The young man in the picture above has come to my son's baseball games the past 3 nights and plans on being there tomorrow night when they play again. I have been asked several times what it is like to do these hunts and I have yet to come up with an answer that truely describes the entire experience. Bob happened to witness the first hunt I was ever apart of and what an experience that was for everyone involved.

Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D truly is a great organization and I am certainly happy that our Buckmasters American Deer Foundation Heart of Texas Chapter has been able to help tham out the last two years. Kurt and his committee have certainly done a great job helping those young people out. We look forward to working with them more in the future.

I would love to volunteer my time but have not been contacted by this organization after 3 months. I will assume they have everything under control.

If this organization is in need of anything, the offer still stands. I would love to offer time, sweat, or blood to help in any way I can...

It truly does my heart well.

Thanks...
